Pink Salmon Cheese Sticks with Tartar Sauce
Be the life of the party and surprise them with this Pink Salmon Cheese Sticks with Tartar Sauce! This makes 50 to 60 sticks so everyone can have a taste of this tasty treat!
Ingredients:
1 can x 425g SABA Pink Salmon In Natural Oil
1/2 bar (100g) Cheese, cut into sticks
1 pc Red Bell Pepper, finely chopped
1 pack Molo or Lumpia Wrapper
1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp Water
Cooking Oil for frying
TARTAR SAUCE
1 cup Mayonnaise
2 big cloves Garlic, finely chopped
1/2 pc Onion, finely chopped
2 Tbsp Pickle Relish
1/4 tsp Iodized Salt
1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1/4 tsp White Sugar
Procedure:
1. In a bowl, mash pink salmon and add red bell pepper, salt and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
2. Place 1 tbsp of mixture and one stick of cheese on a wrapper. Tuck in the sides and roll tightly. Seal edges with water. Repeat procedure for the rest of the mixture.
3. To make the paste, combine water and flour. Mix until smooth.
4. Dip each pink salmon cheese stick edges in the paste.
5. In a frying pan, heat oil at medium heat. Fry pink salmon cheese sticks until golden brown. Place in paper towels to drain excess oil.
6. To make the tartar sauce, combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
7. Serve.
